Click the pic for an eye opening read about Conan’s transition into The Tonight Show. That’s a picture of his new set, here’s a quote, “The not-so-subtle message here is that O’Brien (like his time-slot adversary, Letterman) does not have Leno’s cozy relationship to the Middle American viewer.” Truth. So much gold. Read it, you won’t be disappointed.
I have yet to sneak into here when I pass it on my way to work.

Very Independent Producers

Ted Hope and Christine Vachon discuss with Mitchell Lichtenstein, director of Teeth, their early experiences in the industry and working with first-time directors.

This show is very stripped down and gives a unique perspective into film producing/directing.

15 Film Production Credits Explained
“Ever wonder what all those strange credits are when they roll by at the end of a film? I used to, until I moved to LA, where I started meeting Best Boys and Dolly Grips with their kids when I took my son to the playground—yes, Hollywood, where you meet Gaffers and Armourers at your average Saturday night house party…”

VR-3000 Portable Quadruplex VTR by Ampex1967
Part proton pack, part camera, part back injury. The VR-3000 was the first ever “portable” VHS camcorder. Holy shit and now we have phones that can do this and fit in our wee little pockets. It’s ridiculous how far technology has come. Ridiculous, I say.

iPhone wallpaper’d, if you’re interested.
