PBS announced plans for a 12-hour miniseries from Ken Burns based on the national parks of the U.S. The documentary will be scheduled over six nights in the fall of 2009 and will chronicle the origins of the national park system using archival material and hi-def cinematography.
I hope this will turn out to be our answer to BBC’s Planet Earth series. Do it for America, Ken!
