OTF OTF is sort for “on the fly”, commonly used for interviews.  For example, part of a tape-log might say the following: Jeff OTF: Buying Cheeses This tells us that Jeff’s interview on buying cheeses is not locked down, or heavily pre-produced.  Jeff is answering a few questions about cheese-purchases as he moves along with his day.
