The Pee-wee Herman revival is extending all the way to the multiplex.

Judd Apatow is developing an untitled Pee-wee Herman feature for Universal that Paul Reubens is writing with thesp-scribe Paul Rust (“Inglourious Basterds,” “I Love You, Beth Cooper”). Apatow will produce through his Apatow Prods. banner, though he will not helm the project. Pic is described as featuring the iconic geek — known for his love of toys and nerdy catchphrases like “I know you are, but what am I?” — in a road pic built around “a gigantic adventure.”

“Let’s face it, the world needs more Pee-wee Herman,” Apatow told Daily Variety. “I am so excited to be working with Paul Reubens — who is an extraordinary and groundbreaking actor and writer. It’s so great to watch him return with such relevance.”

Quentin Tarantino attacks paparazzi.

Quentin Tarantino attacks paparazzi.

Missing: Roger Ebert's Voice (again)

Missing: Roger Ebert's Voice (again):
“Reward for Return of Roger Ebert’s Computer
A Mac Book Pro that he uses to speak with.
It was left in a taxi at the Carlton Hotel in Cannes, Sunday, May 16, inside a brown tote bag.

Just days after NBC sealed its $33 million exit deal with Conan O’Brien, the Peacock has greenlighted a drama pilot from O’Brien’s Conaco shingle.

Untitled drama — previously known as “Justice”— from scribe John Eisendrath, revolves around a former Supreme Court Justice who bails from the Court in order to start his own legal practice.

Eisendrath (“My Own Worst Enemy”) is the writer and exec producer, while Conaco is producing via Universal Media Studios.

Also expected to serve as exec producers are Conaco topper David Kissinger, as well as O’Brien and his longtime “Late Night”/ “Tonight”exec producer, Jeff Ross.

Peacock’s Conaco pilot pickup reps a reminder that Hollywood breeds strange bedfellows. Execs-turned-producers frequently sell projects to the networks they once worked at (and frequently exited under ugly circumstances).

Did not see this coming.

Letterman reveals extortion attempt - Variety

Letterman reveals extortion attempt - Variety:
Late Show’ host also admits sex with staffers
Bad David! Bad!

TV Hits Simultaneous New Heights/Rock Bottoms with TLC’s...

TV Hits Simultaneous New Heights/Rock Bottoms with TLC’s “My Monkey Baby”

whatson:

So much gold. Read it, you won’t be disappointed.
